Tuesday, May 13 - Monthly Board Meeting at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, May 13 - Varsity Volleyball, CIF Round 2. This game will begin at 7 p.m., and will be
held at Tesoro High School located at 1 Tesoro Creek Road, Rancho Santa Margarita. Squad B
cheerleaders are scheduled to attend. GO NEWPORT!

CIF Volleyball *if necessary:
*Quarter Finals - Friday, May 16th - Squad A to attend
*Semi-Finals - Wednesday, May 21st - Squad B to attend
*Finals - Saturday, May 24th, 7:30 p.m. at Cal State Dominguez Hill - All cheerleaders attend

Saturday, May 17 - American Cancer Society Walk at NHHS. Cheerleaders will meet at the
school's track at 9:30 a.m.

CHEER TRYOUT IMPORTANT DATES:

Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 - mandatory meeting for parents and girls trying out located in
portable 9 at Newport Harbor High School. The meeting is highly informative and
discusses the tryout process as well as what parents and daughters can expect, and what
is expected of them, if they become a cheerleader.
May 19-21- cheer clinics 3:30-5:30 each day
May 22 - cheer tryouts 3:30-5:30+ (ends when all girls have tried out)
May 23 - pizza party for incoming and outgoing cheerleaders - 4 p.m.
Tuesday, May 27th at 6:30 - new squad parent meeting in portable 9 at NHHS. This is an
important meeting and the board member elections will be held. If you would like to run for
a board position, please contact Lisa.

Jr. Cheer Camp - Junior Cheer Camp will be held August 18 - August 21 the summer of 2008.
